Dear Support team,

I have opened a ticket before about my posts under wrong cateogies.

Last time I have upgrade my WPML version and correct the setting. The posts are under correct cateogies. However, today I checked my posts and they were wrong again.

May you please help me to check and see how I can solve the problem?

I have tried to do the sticky links again. Seems all the posts are correct now.

But, does it mean that I need to do it everyday/ every time when before the posts went under the wrong categories?

I have already set all posts to be in sticky links......

Please help me :'(

Thank you for contacting WPML support!!

In order to investigate your issue, Can you please let us answer following questions:
=> Can you please share screen shot of WPML => Support Page
=> Can you please tell us what is your WordPress version?
=> Can you please tell us Which theme you are using? is it public?
=> Do you have same issue if you switch to default theme?

For you information, please find below the filtering of the post by category

I now have three languages for the website: Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese and English.

Take Publisher as a category example (Traditional Chinese: 中華出版社(i.e. Publisher-zh-hant), Simplified Chinese: 中华出版社(i.e. Publisher-zh-hans))

On the category page, it shows that there are 12 posts (correct) under "Publisher" Category

When I view all posts under "Publisher" Category, it shows 12 posts (correct)

***Please take FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***

In order to investigate your issue if you like I could check things on your install in order to see what could be going wrong there.

If you agree to this please use the form fields I have enabled below to provide temporary access details (wp-admin and FTP)?

I have already enabled private fields that you will find under this comment box.

Thank you for your support, minesh!

Since all the content is almost ready. We actually plan to launch next Friday (1/8). But the category is a big issue for us......

May I know how long the WPML team needs to figure out the problem and fix it?

***Please take FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***

=> Can you please try by deactivating ALL non-WPML plugins with default theme?
=> Once you do that, can you please add few test posts and attached those to some categories and check if this is works for you?

I have already deactivated all the non-WPML plugins and the theme. The current theme is now Twenty Fourteen.

5 new posts are added. Title is "System & Plugin Testing (1) (2) (3) (4) (5)"

Dear minesh,

The posts are added yesterday. All the plugins except WPML are switched off. The theme is also default wordpress theme.

Seems the problem still exists. Please help.

Hello Becky,

***Please take FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***

I have installed adminer plugin, can you please take full backup of your database first from:
=> Tools => Adminer

In order to fix your issue, Can you please follow next steps:
=> Login to your Admin Panel
=> Go to [Left Menu] WPML -> Support
=> Click on the "troubleshooting" link. [ You can find that at bottom of the page ]

Once you are on "Troubleshooting" Page:
=> Click on "Remove ghost entries from translations table" button.
=> Click on "General clean up" button.
=> Click on "Set language information" button.

Can you please let us know the results if this fix your issue. If not, then I will consult our development team.
