Hi guys,

How can I place the Menu Language Switcher which is now in my menu with the 2 flags, French and English, to display instead on the top bar next to the left of my Facebook Icon?

Hello,

Thank you for contacting WPML Support. You can place the language switcher in any place of your theme, for that, you can place a custom php code in your theme header template files. You have two choices as described below:

To display a dropdown language switcher

do_action( 'wpml_add_language_selector' );

To display a horizontal list of languages

do_action( 'wpml_footer_language_selector' );

See: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/#language-switcher

I recommend you to edit your theme template files using a child theme approach, this way you can keep your changes in case of theme update. See: https://developer.wordpress.org/themes/advanced-topics/child-themes/

Hope it helps, have a nice day.
