Hola,

Cuando hago algún cambio y actualizo el archivo original (español) hay unos campos en la traducción con una etiqueta "number", en este caso son años (2017 por ejemplo) que se vacían y tengo que volver a insertarlos. Es decir, cuando entro en ATE a actualizar la traducción, esos campos están vacíos.

¿Sabéis a qué es debido?

Hi,

When I make any changes and update the original file (Spanish) there are some fields in the translation with a tag "number", in this case they are years (2017 for example) that are emptied and I have to reinsert them. In other words, when I enter ATE to update the translation, those fields are empty.

Do you know what it is due to?

Hello

It sounds to me as if this field is reinitialised in the original post...meaning, it is seen as a new sting for some reason.

As a result, the editor is presenting it as a new requirement for translation.

I would have to take a closer look at WHY this field is being seen as a new field each time (is it dynamically generated?)

These are just my thoughts before taking a closer look at the actual field.

1. Temporary Access to your system
Please provide access to your system (wp-admin and ftp) so that I can further investigate this particular problem. The fields to provide this data are included in a private section that I will open for your next response. You can find it above the comments area. The information in this private section is only visible between WPML Support and you

2. Please send the URL of the post/page that has this issue

Hi,

I cannot give you access to the web admin because I am still working locally.

It is not a dynamic field. I am using Beaver Builder and it is just plain text but in the ATE it labels as "number" and the translation disappears every time I update the original.

If you don't know why this happens, we will have to wait for the website to be published, which will be very soon ... I hope.

The other option is to send me a dduplicator of your site as per this article.

Don´t forget to includes steps to replicate this issue.

He consultado con algunos colegas y me han pedido de escalar to caso al equipo ATE para más diagnóstico.

Me podrías prepara una copia de tu sistema como describe este artículo?https://wpml.org/faq/provide-supporters-copy-site/

Abro el area privado para que me envías un enlace donde puedo descargar el "package" que Duplicator genera. Si tu sistema es muy grande, se puede utilizar los filtros de archivos para excluir la carpeta ../wp-content/uploads

Me darás accesso FTP para bajar el paquete? Si no, puedes también intentar subirlo a FileShare, Dropbox...o similar.
