Hi there, I am trying to disable as much plugins as possible. Is there a place where I can dubble check if I am in need of the WPML Media plugin? A page where I can see if media is translated with the plugin or so?

Hi and thank you for contacting WPML Support!

I will be happy to help you with this.

You can go to WPML > Media Translation and see the translations for each media file.

You should not need that plugin to be active if you don't plan to translate the images on the site.

Also, you can take a look at the ticket here:
https://wpml.org/forums/topic/do-i-need-media-translation-plugin/

I hope this answers your question and helps you decide if you need to use the plugin or not.

PS: Also, here you can find more info about the Media Translation process in case you would like to take a look:
https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/media-translation/

Kind regards,
Mihai Apetrei

Will the translations be undone if I disable the plugin?

Hi.

The media translations will stay active as long as the plugin remains active, yes.
