Problem: Does WPML support machine translation?

Solution: WPML doesn’t include a built-in interface to machine translation. WPML is a tool that lets you translate your site and include multilingual content. It also includes an interface to translation services.

Can I set up the google translation to translate the content on my website manually? I just wanna set up the google translation to translate the products description, because doing it artificially will have a lot of work, I want to show English content on website, and if users want to read their self language, just click the button, the English and the language they preferred will be shown on the webpages. Can I use WPML to do like this? If not, which plugins do you suggest? I do not want to insert the link or code page by page, I want a plugin do that automatically if possible,

Thank you for your help

Thank you for posting your question! I will be glad to answer it.

WPML plugin does not provide any feature that would make this possible. We also haven't tested any plugins that can do this.

I believe that some browsers offer such feature. Allow you translating the viewing page. If you do not want to translate the products, you can just duplicate the products to the secondary languages.

Thank you.

that’s too bad
I did not understand that WPML had such limitations and was not compatible with the machine translate when purchasing it.

It is a pain to use WPML if I don’t want to pay for YOUR WPML translation. copy past in Google translate, then back, read and correct

I write in French and need to translate into English and Italian, I am fluent in English but wanted to have a quick machine translation of all segments and read to adjust translations, so I go faster.

To pay for software and then have to pay for a service I don’t need, that’s really bad.

Will not renew my subscription that’s for sure.
