I am trying to cancel a translation job after it has been created, since I was trying to get WPML to re-use an existing project for the Transifex integration as described here: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/wpml-is-creating-a-new-project-for-each-batch/

I now have four translation batches and hundreds of Job IDs. None of these can be cancelled or removed due to the lack of a checkbox to select the job. It seems like a checkbox should be visible to the left of the job number? The "Cancel selected" button remains greyed out. See screenshot.

Hello there,

Thank you for contacting WPML support. I'd be happy to assist you further on this issue.

Please follow the below documenation to cancel the jobs: https://wpml.org/translation-service/transifex/#canceling-translation-jobs

Let me know if this helps.

Thanks

Hi again, sorry for the slow reply.

Deleting the project in Transifex has no effect, the jobs still appear on the WPML Translation Jobs tab. Clicking "Synchronize status" displays the message "Your request has been sent. Please wait a few minutes to synchronize the status with the Translation service." but even after 10 minutes the status does not change.

On the Translation Dashboard tab, clicking "Check status and get translations" also has no effect, and the "Last check" date does not get updated. It seems like the connection between WPML and Transifex is broken, so I tried to deactivate and reauthorize the service, which also did not work. It is also not possible to send a new batch to Transifex - it simply increments the batch name, but the translation remains in the Translation Basket and no new project is created in Transifex.

What can I do to try and fix this? Maybe it would just be easier to assign myself as translator for all languages and export/import XLIFF files? Would this allow me to use a single project in Transifex? It is not an ideal workflow to create a new project for each batch.

Thanks for your help!

I updated WPML today, bringing WPML Translation Management to 2.8.0. It is now possible to successfully "Check status and get translations" but the incorrect status is retrieved. None of the jobs are cancelled, and WPML simultaneously reports that the translation "Needs update", but also "Translation is ready, no need to check its status" and "You cannot download the translation as it has not been completed". These things obviously can't be true at the same time. How do I get WPML out of this broken state?

Hello there,

This seems unusual, to further debug this issue, I need to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site in order to be of better help. You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. hidden link

These info is private, and available to you and supporters only. Read more about this: https://wpml.org/purchase/support-policy/privacy-and-security-when-providing-debug-information-for-support/

Note that:

#1
Backup (both files and database) your site before giving us your credentials. You can use a plugin for this if you like. I often use the Duplicator plugin for this purpose.
See: http://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/

#2
It would be better if you give me the test site rather than the live site.

#3
If the issues need some changes in the plugins updates/disabling we will install a plugin called “duplicator” and replicate the site in our local server for testing.

Look forward to your reply.

Thanks
