This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem: We you share a translated posts on FB instead the home page is being shared as it is marked as cannonical

Solution: The issue was solved with the last update for Yoast SEO Multilingual 1.2.1.

Tell us what you are trying to do? Share translated posts on FB and see the links to the correct language page. Instead, the home page is being shared as it is marked as cannonical (not by me)

Is there any documentation that you are following? It´s a simple operation, no need for that

Is there a similar example that we can see? I opened a ticket for this last week and it was supposed to be solved with the last udate, but it hasn´t. Link to it>

Did you already try the latest update for Yoast SEO Multilingual?

If this realease will not solve the issue then then let me know please as it might be that the fix did not make it into this version and instead will be included into the upcoming version of this glue plugin.

My issue is resolved now. Thank you!
I had no notifications that there was a new version of WPML Yoast plugin, nor in the plugins nor in the Wpml panel..
