I am trying to: See the products page in the backend

Ok, I could import all the files...

Tried to restore the database but it got stuck on maintenance mode.

Theoretically the next step should be to search/replace the URL.

Ok, the page is replicated here: hidden link

As it doesnt have cloudflare, it doesnt give timeout but the pages are "loading" for minutes now and still just get a spinning wheel.

FOUND THE PROBLEM (but not its root-cause)

The table wp_icl_string_pages grew from less than 40Mb on June 19th to 1,5Gb on June 20th.

Restores that table and its working fine again.

Im just affraid it could happen again.

Ps.: I have backup of both versions of this table if you need to investigate.

OK, just found out that table is the String Translation Cache... Clicking at "Recreate ST DB cache tables" at the troubleshooting page makes the problem reappear and the table is cleaned.

Hi,

Kindly apologize for the delay, Thanks for detailed investigation.
please follow the below steps if you have not done already.
- Truncate the wp_icl_string_pages table using the below MySQL query.

TRUNCATE TABLE wp_icl_string_pages;
TRUNCATE TABLE  wp_icl_string_urls;

- The performance will be affected for the time being but gradually it will be restored to normal

Tried it in the staging website, it doesn't fixed the problem and made all the languages homepage to have English text.

Ps.: Dont think the cache I cleaned was the cause of the problem in the end as it worked just temporarily.

We had no changes by our side...
Just tried a couple of different browsers (Edge, chrome in incognito mode) and had error 524 also.

I suspect our virtual server is just faster than the clone site.

FOUND THE CULPRIT...

It was a plugin called YITH Request a quote Premium, but that plugin claim to be 100% compatible with WPML and we need that plugin working and also have paid support for it, should I open a ticket with YITH?

Please upload the suspected plugins to the sandbox site, This will help us identify the compatibility issue and proceed accordingly

The sandbox site has WPML install please finish the setup and install the "YITH Request a quote Premium" plugin check if the issue can be reproduced there. You dont need to create a complete clone of the site. Just a bare minimum setup is required to reproduce the issue.

Let me know once done, I will have a closer look if the issue is confirmed I can move this to our compatibility team

Thats weird, I also have a ticket open with YITH and they cant reproduce the problem on their side: hidden link

I logged in with their user, and no problems whatsoever.

Deleted my user, created a new one and problem solved.
