This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

The client is unable to assign credits for automatic translation in WPML, experiencing a screen loop when attempting to assign credits.

Solution:

We recommend the following steps to resolve the issue:

1) Ensure a full site backup is taken.
2) Visit your WPML account page at https://wpml.org/account/sites/.
3) Delete the existing key for your site.
4) Navigate to Plugins > Add New > Commercial tab and click on "Unregister WPML from this site".
5) Refresh the page and then click on "Get a key for this site", assigning the desired amount of prepaid credits.
6) Copy the newly generated code and register the site with this new key.

For detailed guidance, refer to our documentation at https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/how-to-assign-automatic-translation-credits-to-your-sites/.

If the problem persists, try the following additional steps:
- Go to WPML → Translation Management >> Translation Jobs.
- Filter the jobs by "In Progress" status and delete any that are still marked as such.
- Revisit the affected page and then return to WPML >> Translation Management to check if the issue is resolved.

If these solutions do not resolve the issue or seem outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem still persists, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum for further assistance.

Hello,

Thank you for the updates. This issue requires further checking. To proceed, please allow me to create a copy of your site using the Duplicator plugin to debug the issue on our local server. It will help us to troubleshoot the issue without affecting your live site.

No problem there should be a duplicator package there ready to download if not create one.

Hello,

Thank you for the updates. I have made a copy of the site for further debugging and escalation. However, the issue could not be reproduced exactly on the local copy.

Therefore, we have a request. Please try the following after taking a full site backup and check if it makes any difference:

- Go to WPML → Translation Management >> Translation Jobs
- Filter the jobs by "In Progress" status
- Delete the translation jobs that are still marked as In Progress
- Revisit the affected page
- Then go back to WPML >> Translation Management and check if the issue persists

Refer to the attached images for more details, and let us know your feedback.

This seems to have helped, the translations are running in the background.
