Hi,

I asked access to the site (which doesn't need to include FTP credentials) because the copy shared of the site didn't worked in a local environment. The copy you shared is simply a default WordPress installation without plugins and themes.

There is nothing I can do without that information.

I just downloaded the zip file again and it contains exactly the same, just an fresh WordPress install.

Without a working copy of the site I can't continue debuggin this issue. Please follow the Duplicator instruction in this video: hidden link and share a functional
copy of the site.

Note, you can also use All-In-One WP Migration plugin to make the copy.

I have set your next answer private so you can share the download link.
Best regards,
Carlos

Please see my last message. The zipfile (on my own website) contains a full export (wordpress + plugins + theme + media).
I also mentioned it is NOT a default setup.
All plugins/themes are in /content.
The SQL is in the root.

If you can't get that working, please ask a more technically skilled developer to take over because this is definitely the code to get it working.

Please attached images.

The database seems to be there, but plugins folder and themes folder are with the default information.

Carlos

IT IS NOT A DEFAULT WP SETUP. I have explicitly mentioned this twice !!!

Everything resides in /content.
As can be seen in wp-config.php.

See attached screenshot which is the contents of site-export.zip

The content folder only contains an empty folder titled banners. See attached images.

Please download the same zip file and unzip it in your computer.

The whole zip file is only 9.46MB.

Regards,
Carlos

You seem to NOT have downloaded the zip file which is on my own personal website.
Plz download it again.

Attached you find 2 images.
1 is the file info for site-export.zip (44 mb)
1 is the contents of the file site-export.zip (137 mb)

If you unpack the zip file you should see 3 folders
- cms
- content
- media
as can be seen in the screenshot.

The banner folder is INSIDE the cms folder, which is NOT where you need to look.
As I've mentioned several times already, this is NOT a default WP install.

Hi there,

Now I downloaded the correct zip file. I'm very sorry for the misunderstanding, I was downloading the sexdates.zip file which is the one that is shared in the download link. I didn't understand that the download link, the URL, had to be changed.

Now that I got the right file I will try to restore it on local and try to reproduce the issue in order to isolate it's cause.

I will get back to you as soon as I have an answer.

Thank you very much for your patience and understanding!
Best regards,
Carlos

Hi there,

I haven't able to save the CPT Profile because I get this two error messages:
- Fatal error: Uncaught ArgumentCountError: Too few arguments to function sd_delete_transients_hook(), 1 passed in C:\Users\carlo\Desktop\xampp\htdocs\berryp\wp-includes\class-wp-hook.php on line 286 and exactly 2 expected in C:\Users\carlo\Desktop\xampp\htdocs\berryp\wp-content\themes\sexdates\inc\do-stuff.php on line 122
- ArgumentCountError: Too few arguments to function sd_delete_transients_hook(), 1 passed in C:\Users\carlo\Desktop\xampp\htdocs\berryp\wp-includes\class-wp-hook.php on line 286 and exactly 2 expected in C:\Users\carlo\Desktop\xampp\htdocs\berryp\wp-content\themes\sexdates\inc\do-stuff.php on line 122

This error happens when I try to save the Profile CPT. However the profile gets saved and I'm able to upload the images and then the images are available in the media library. See attached images.

Best regards,
Carlos

I am sorry, that's my bad... I exported while I was not on the master branch...

The fix is real easy, delete $post_id from line 121 in do-stuff.php.
Only $type should be used as variable

Hi there,

Yes, this fix solved the error message. However the media elements are being uploaded correctly to the media library.

I suspect this is a cache memory issue, because in local all works correctly.

Best regards,
Carlos

That is true, images are being uploaded. But try to save the option in Settings for duplicating media. That results in a 400 error. Can you confirm that ?

Some more debugging info...
The minimal setup I tested with, had a database which previously was on versions 4.0.3 and 4.0.4.

I just now started a fresh WP install, with a default theme and just WPML active.
I set it up and was able to save the setting.

I then went back to the site I had issues with (which was on 4.0.3 and 4.0.4) and reverted back to a database export which had never seen a WPML installation and added 4.0.5.

So the first WPML function which was activated on this install was 4.0.5.
I setup the initial settings. After clicking finish, I immediately went to settings and did nothing but deactivate the second and third option in `How to handle media for new content`. I clicked save and it saved without a 400 ajax error.

This makes me think the error only appears when 4.0.3 or 4.0.4 was installed before updating to 4.0.5.

Hope this is of any help...
