Thank you for contacting WPML support. I'll be happy to help you with this. The screenshot from the video is the WPML -> Translations screen. The screenshot from your page is the WPML -> Translation Management interface. Once your username is set as a translator, you can then go to WPML -> Translation Management and send your files to translation. Then, go to WPML -> Translations and there you will be able to "Take and Translate" the pages.

To set yourself as a translator, go to WPML -> Translation Management -> Translation Roles.

Please let me know if you need any further assistance and I will be happy to help.

Hi Lauren (or who will read this)
(Now it is not Nina writing, but Jens - I try to help her with this as you can see)
As shown on the screenshots, I am "User", but not able to find/connect myself. Will you please look into it and see what's wrong?
Thank you!
BR
Jens

I just tested in a fresh install and you should be able to add a user with Shop Manager role as a translation manager. If you would like to see my test, you can use the one click login here: hidden link

I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take better look at the issue. You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.

Our Debugging Procedures

I will be checking various settings in the backend to see if the issue can be resolved. Although I won't be making changes that affect the live site, it is still good practice to backup the site before providing us access. In the event that we do need to debug the site further, I will duplicate the site and work in a separate, local development environment to avoid affecting the live site.

Privacy and Security Policy

We have strict policies regarding privacy and access to your information. Please see:
https://wpml.org/purchase/support-policy/privacy-and-security-when-providing-debug-information-for-support/

**IMPORTANT**

- Please make a backup of site files and database before providing us access.

- If you do not see the wp-admin/FTP fields this means your post & website login details will be made PUBLIC. DO NOT post your website details unless you see the required wp-admin/FTP fields. If you do not, please ask me to enable the private box. The private box looks like this: hidden link

I was able to add you as a translation manager. However, I did notice you are using older versions of WPML. Please update to the latest versions to avoid further issues.

Please let me know if you need any further assistance and I will be happy to help.

Hi Lauren,

I've come further now, but I can't find "The Advanced Translation Editor". Can you help we with that?
Screenshots: You can see my site (when I click "send", it sends, but doesn't forward me further).
And you can see the WPML-Youtube tutorial, what it schould look like.

The password have been changed - if you need it, please link me a way to write it to you "Private".
Kind Regards

Hi there, the translation editor type can be set in WPML -> Settings. Then, from the page edit screen of the original post, you can enable or disable the WPML translation editor. That switch is in the Languages box of the page edit screen.

I have marked the next reply as private if you need additional assistance.
