This is a follow up of this topic.
https://wpml.org/forums/topic/cant-translate-kadence-woocommerce-email-designer-string/

I tried the solution suggested by Itamar, but it still doesn't work.

[woocommerce_customer_completed_order_settings]subject
[woocommerce_customer_completed_order_settings]heading
They appear in Japanese for English transactional emails. Only these subject and heading.
Other parts of email texts are appearing translated.

I just tried switching to English on admin side when I send out the shipment email. Then
[woocommerce_customer_completed_order_settings]subject
[woocommerce_customer_completed_order_settings]heading
these are properly translated on the shipment email.

Hi.

I'm glad that you have found a way to send those emails in the correct language.
Do you still need help with this issue?

Regards,
Itamar.

Well, it is better if I don't need to switch the admin language every time when sending out the emails. But if this is the only way for now, then no more help needed.

I see.

Let's please continue from the point we stopped in the last ticket. We need to replicate this issue on a clean WordPress installation so I can escalate it to our compatibility team.

We need to replicate this issue on a fresh WordPress installation. Then I'll be able to escalate it to our compatibility team. For this, I created a test website with a clean WordPress install. You can access it through this link:

With this link, you'll be directly logged in.

Could you please install the Kadence plugin and see if the issue is replicable on a clean WordPress installation?
Please configures WPML as it is set on your site.
Please also make sure that you are installing the latest version of the plugin.

When everything is finished, and you can replicate the problem, please let me know.

Thanks,
Itamar.

OK, so I did as you instructed and placed a test order. But I don't get any emails.

Hi.

I've installed an Email Log plugin on the test site.
You'll be able to check any outgoing emails in the Email Log section in the backend.
Can you please continue and see if the issue is replicable?
Then please tell me the steps to replicate it.

OK,thank you. So I did several test orders and I can see the issue there.
On this clean installation, issue is replicated opposite way, though.

For the shipment email in Japanese,
[woocommerce_customer_completed_order_settings]subject
[woocommerce_customer_completed_order_settings]heading
These are appearing in English.

On my website, for the shipment email in English,
[woocommerce_customer_completed_order_settings]subject
[woocommerce_customer_completed_order_settings]heading
These are appearing in Japanese.

Hi.

There was some misunderstanding about how to replicate the issue between me and our compatibility team. I need please some clarification from you regarding this issue.
Is it true that the following is what you are trying to achieve?
You want that subject and heading of the Customer Complete Order email would be in the language that the product was purchased in.
For example:
A. A client buys the product in English (second language on your site.)
B. The admin language that is set for the store manager (administrator) is Japanese.
B. The store manager (administrator) set the order as complete in WooCommerce -> Orders.
C. The subject and heading of the Customer Complete Order email should be in English.

Is this correct and this what you are trying to achieve?

Thanks,
Itamar.
