I am trying to:Translate texts from the plugin Woocommerce Por-Orders. The plugin works well in english, but no texts anywhare are translated. I already followed different topics about the subject ( https://wpml.org/forums/topic/woocommerce-pre-orders-plugin-button-translations-do-not-work/ ) but the problem still remain.

I also tried to translate using the setting page woocommerce > settings > pre-orders and switching the language at the top, but all texts are still in english.

Instead, I got: All texts in english whatever the language of the website

Can you please send me a screenshot or more with all the strings that you want to translate? Just create a note over the screenshot using circles or arrows to show me what are the strings that you want to translate.

Hi,

The texts i can't translate are the texts from woocommerce / settings / pre-orders.
If i modify thoses texts, they will be changed for all languages, and not only for the french.

I just installed another plugin (Woocommerce Upcoming Products) and it is the same issue.

Hi!

The way to translate those strings really depends on how they have been implemented in the code.

1. Can you please let me know if you tried to go to WPML > String Translation and search for any of the words in those sentences?

Here is some very helpful documentation on how to use the String Translation plugin:

If it's not there, it could help if you scan the plugin/theme that's generating the strings and then go back to WPML > String Translation and see if the strings show up:

2. If you can't find it inside the WPML > String Translation, it might be added as admin text.

This should be the normal process to translate admin texts:

Can you please let me know if any of these steps helped you find the strings you were looking for?

Hi,

As you can see, the texts in string translation is well translated.

I did not had to add strings to string translation table because they were already there. But to be sure, I still searched for admin texts, checked for the admin strings et add to translation.

It probably does not come from the plugin "pre-order" because another plugin "woocommerce upcoming" is not translated too.

If you want , I gave you an admin access and an ftp access to my website. It is a dev environment, no pb if you break something.

Quick question: I have seen that WPML + the WPML add-ons have been disabled on the site.

Is there any reason for that?

Can I activate them back?
