Hi there,

I'm using the Listify theme and there is a widget on the root page (hidden link) that shows 5 random categories(from a custom taxonomie), but it is not showing in the translated language(english). Only in the default language(german).

The categories, widget title and text are all translated.

I also tried to use the language switcher in the widget, but if it is set to any other language than the default one it is not shown.
Other widgets work with that method but not the category listing widget.
Could you help me solve this?

I would like to ask you to follow this steps in order to isolate the cause of the issue:
- Back up your site first before making any change, this is for security reasons.
- Deactivate all the plugins that are not related to WPML.
- If the issue is gone, activate one by one to see with which one there is an interaction issue.

Could you tell me the result of this steps?

Note: I suspect that the cause of the issue might be the Dynamic Widgets plugin.

We deactivated everything except for WPML and Job Manager (which is required by the theme).
However, the problem still persists.

I consulted this issue with my colleagues and before I create the copy of the site and test it on local (which will take longer) I have created a fresh new testing site that you can access by following this link: hidden link

I have setup WPML and the WPML plugins you have in your site. I have also added the same languages.

I would like to ask you to try to reproduce the issue in this test site and let me know if the issue persists.
