I installed wpml and translated my website. Now, I need to change the default language switcher which was automatically place to the right of the menu inside the header after installation. The position of the switcher is good, but I need to change it´s appearance.

I cannot find options to do that anywhere in the backend.

in the screenshot you can see how I want to display.

Thank you for contacting WPML support. If you want to display DE or EN instead of Flags or German/ English label, You can achieve it by doing below steps:
- Go to WPML >> Languages >> Edit Languages
- Add DE / EN in Translation textboxes as in attached screenshot.
- Then Edit language switcher by pressing pencil icon from WPML >> Languages >> Menu language switcher and select similar options as in attached screenshot.

Please let me know if this resolves your issue or you need further assistance.

Thank you
