Hi there! I wold like to change the urls of menu language links after i translate the taxonomy slug.

in register taxonomy i got 'slug' => _x('city','my_txt_domain') for translate the taxonomy slug.

Is there some hook or filter to do this?

As for example i can use add_filter term_link to change the taxonomy url but for change the manu language links?

This is my previous ticket https://wpml.org/forums/topic/is-it-possible-to-hook-into-url-on-language-switcher/ and this is not good answer for me, because this is just help me to retrive the current language and his url, but i need to change ALL in the menu.

The old links was like this:

English /city/barcelona
Russian /ru/city/barcelona
Spanish /es/city/barcelona

Now the 'city' is transalted (Wpml->String translation...) so their language i need to make links look like this in nav menu:

English /city/barcelona
Russian /ru/gorod/barcelona
Spanish /es/ciudad/barcelona

So how can i do this?

Hello,
Thank you for contacting WPML support.

1.- I would like to ask you to follow this steps:
- Back up your site first before making any change, this is for security reasons.
- Go to Settings -> Permalinks -> Re-save the permalink structure.
- Go to WPML -> Support -> Troubleshooting link -> Click on 'Clear the cache in WPML' button.

Could you tell me the result of this steps?

2.- Please provide the debug information of the site. In this link you will find the steps to follow: https://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/

Kind regards,
Carlos

Hi there,

We are here to help you as much as we can 🙂

I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take better look at the issue. You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.

Our Debugging Procedures

I will be checking various settings in the backend to see if the issue can be resolved. Although I won't be making changes that affect the live site, it is still good practice to backup the site before providing us access. In the event that we do need to debug the site further, I will duplicate the site and work in a separate, local development environment to avoid affecting the live site.

Kind regards,
Carlos
