This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The checkout page at https://www.oialla.com/checkout is not properly translated.
Solution:
If you're experiencing this issue, we recommend you try the following steps:
1. Search for the field label you're trying to translate in WPML > String Translations;
2. Select the string, and switch its language to Danish;
3. Wait for the page to refresh, and then add the translation.
This solution was tested with the string "Fornavn" and it worked. The relevant strings are from the 'woo-checkout-field-editor-pro' Domain.

Please note that this solution might be outdated or not applicable to your specific case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the issue persists, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum for further assistance.

Hey there,

I visited your website in Danish, added a product to the cart, and visited the Checkout page (which had the slug checkout-2 on the URL). I could only find 2 strings untranslated. I recommend you translate the String Translation tool. You can find more details here:

https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/string-translation/

If you can't find the strings, please check the below link. Let me know if that works for you.

Hey there,

Thanks for sharing. Due to our policy, we can only handle one issue per ticket, so if you have any other issues, please open a new ticket or chat for it. I appreciate your understanding.

Now, about the checkout page, I checked it in English and was able to see the issue now. Can you please send me a screenshot of the page editor, in Danish, for the checkout page? I want to check how it's setup inside wp-admin.

Thank you. I see that you're using blocks to build the checkout page. In this case, it's necessary to follow the steps in "Registering Strings from JavaScript Files" in the link below:

https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/string-translation/finding-strings-that-dont-appear-on-the-string-translation-page/#register-strings-js

Once the strings are registered, you can translate them in WPML → String Translation. Let me know if that works out for you.

I would like to look at this directly on your site. For this I would need temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site, preferably to a test/staging site where the problem has been replicated if possible.

The required fields can be found below the comments section. The information you enter is private, i.e. only you and I can see it and have access to it.

I may need to replicate your website locally. To do this, I need to temporarily install a plugin called "Duplicator" or "All in One WP Migration" on your website. This will allow me to create a copy of your website and content. Once the issue is resolved, I will delete the local website. Let me know if this works for you.

IMPORTANT

Please make a backup copy of the site files and database before giving us access.

- If you do not see the wp-admin/FTP fields, this means your post and site login details are being made PUBLIC. DO NOT post your website details if you do not see the required wp-admin/FTP fields. If you do not, ask me to enable the private box. The private box looks like this:

Hello there,

Thank you for sharing. I was able to find the original Danish strings, but they were registered in EN. To translate them, please follow these steps:

1. Search for the field label you're trying to translate in WPML > String Translations;
2. Select the string, and switch its language to Danish (check image);
3. Wait for the page to refresh, and add the translation;

I tested it with "Fornavn" and it worked 🙂 The relevant strings here are from the 'woo-checkout-field-editor-pro' Domain. Let me know if that also works for you.
