Hello Clemens,
Thanks for contacting WPML Support.
I understand you're facing challenges with adding the code. While we do have a solution available, I want to inform you that we'll include the solution in the future version of the WooCommerce Multilingual plugin. However, at this moment, I don't have specific information or an estimated timeline for when this solution will be released.
In the meantime, I suggest using the workaround outlined in the Errata. If you find this challenging, I'm more than willing to assist you with it.

Hello Clemens,
Thank you for sharing the access information.
I would like to inform you that the fix you were awaiting has been added to version 5.3.3 of the WooCommerce Multilingual plugin. I have updated the plugin on your behalf, reviewed the code, and can confirm that the solution has been correctly implemented. Please give it another try with this latest version, and I hope that the issue of being charged twice, which you initially reported, will now be resolved.
Let me know the update. I will be happy to help if you need further assistance in this matter.
How sure are you that it is working now. We cannot reisk to charge all customers twice.
Did you test it with the plugin "Payment Plugins Braintree For WooCommerce" and "Payment Plugins for Stripe WooCommerce"?
I've conducted tests with the "Payment Plugins for Stripe WooCommerce" plugin and can confirm that the solution has effectively resolved the issue. Before implementing this fix, there were instances where users experienced double charges. However, since applying the solution, this problem has not recurred.
Before moving forward to a production environment, feel free to test on a testing/staging site to ensure that the outcome meets your expectations.
If there is anything else you need help, please feel free to let me know. I will be happy to help.
