I am trying to:

Have the same color pattern in the normal navigation menu AND in the responsive navigation menu. Responsive menu not working properly.

Instead, I got: font color and background color are different in responsive menu.

Hello @idaire, welcome to the WPML support Forum!

Please add the following CSS code to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS. It should fix the issue:

@media (max-width: 1000px) {
.wpml-ls-slot-2.wpml-ls-current-language, .wpml-ls-slot-2.wpml-ls-current-language a, .wpml-ls-slot-2.wpml-ls-current-language a:visited {
	background-color: transparent;
	color: rgba(255,255,255,0.6);

.wpml-ls-slot-2.wpml-ls-current-language:hover, .wpml-ls-slot-2.wpml-ls-current-language:hover a, .wpml-ls-slot-2.wpml-ls-current-language a:hover {
	background-color: transparent !important;

.wpml-ls-slot-2.wpml-ls-current-language .wpml-ls-slot-2, .wpml-ls-slot-2.wpml-ls-current-language .wpml-ls-slot-2 a, .wpml-ls-slot-2.wpml-ls-current-language .wpml-ls-slot-2 a:visited {
	background-color: transparent !important;

Please let me know if it worked for you.

All the best,
