Dear Sirs,

in Woocommerce Multilingual we face the follow error message for which we have not found a solution (cause & solution) till now:

Configuration warnings
Some settings from the WooCommerce Multilingual wpml-config.xml file have been overwritten
• Custom taxonomy product_type configuration from wpml-config.xml file was altered!

Hello Gerard,

Thanks for posting the warnings directly here into the thread!
Talked to our Woocommerce specialists and they mentioned these points to check:

1) The classic plugin version note - please make sure to use these plugin versions
> Sitepress-Multilingual-CMS 3.1.4
> String Translation 2.0.4
> Translation Management 1.9.3
> WPML Media 2.1.3
> Woocommerce 2.1.5 | 2.1.6 | 2.1.7
> Woocommerce-Multilingual 3.2.2

2) How does one know what values..
> Custom taxonomy product_type
> Custom taxonomy shop_order_status
..should actually have?

You can see it in file "wpml-config.xml" in /wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-multilingual/
--> hidden link

Line 52: "product_type" should be on 0, "dont translate"
Line 53: "shop_order_status" should be also 0, "dont translate"

3) How to fix it

- Remove line 52 and 53 from your wpml-config.xml file
- Under "WPML > Translation Management > Multilingual Content Setup > Custom taxonomies" set "product_type" and "shop_order_status" to "Do nothing"
- Now add the lines 52 and 53 into your wpml-config.xml

Hope it works. Our developers are working on making this more user-friendly and easier to correct, but for now this should be the easiest approach.
