I am trying to: tune my site and have a 'problem' with flags

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

In GTMetrix I was told the components (flags) that are not cookie-free, with another page check I see that the flags have no dimensions and need to give them. Not sure when both problems are the same because of my English.

Hi,

Thank you for contacting WPML support.

As I checking other WPML sites, I do not see dimension is defined in HTML but it is defined in CSS: hidden link

Do you want that in HTML?
If yes, it depends on how your theme was built.
Flag is an image inside the menu. Menu and it's contains are coded in the theme.
So the theme should define the image size when it comes inside the menu.

In GTMetrix I was told the components (flags) that are not cookie-free,
- could you please show a screenshot of this?

Regards,
Riffaz.

Hi Riffaz,

Yank you for the prompt answer. I uploaded a image regarding the GTmetrix cookie-free advice... I have the Avada Classic theme from ThemeFusion.

Thanks,
Richard

Hi,

Thank you or the screenshot.

This has nothing to do with WPML.
This is to serve static content from a different domain to avoid unnecessary cookie traffic.
Even if you disable the WPML, you will see this warning in gtmetrix.
So you can understand that this does not come from WPML.

Still if you want to set cookie free domains please refer: hidden link

If you go through the article you will undertand that it's a custom work and it is out of support scope.
In that case, you can consider https://wpml.org/contractors/

But for me, your site speed and page optimizations are more than enough.

Let me know if you need anything else regarding this.

Regards,
Riffaz.
