This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is experiencing an issue where translations created in Cornerstone are displayed correctly in the backend but not on the frontend. This problem occurs when the 'Media Translation' addon is enabled, and it affects pages that have been manually translated in Cornerstone.

Solution:
We have identified a known issue with the 'Media Translation' addon that prevents manually added translations from displaying correctly on the frontend. To resolve this issue, we recommend the following steps:
1. Deactivate the 'Media Translation' addon.
2. Resave the translation in Cornerstone.
3. Check if the translated content now displays correctly on the frontend.

Tell us what you are trying to do?

Translation created in Cornerstone - wee it on front-end of the website
Back-end does show it correctly. Front-end does not.

From what I know now: The first created language will be shown. We have English (as std) / Dutch website. Create an English page first, than create a translation - in Cornerstone: You only see English. Create a Dutch page first, translate it in Cornerstone into English: You see only Dutch.

Is there any documentation that you are following?

Is there a similar example that we can see?

hidden link
Show Dutch text. On back-end, in Cornerstone it is English.

It started just recently.
We created so many pages already in different websites.... WPML / Cornerstone is always a bit tricky.

We have this issue on two pages only now, and these are pages I worked on, after updating:

WPML CMS: 4.6.6 (now 4.6.7)
Theme: Pro 6.3.9 (now updated to 6.4.5)
WP: 6.4.2

the issue is big! Because:
When I create a new page and translate it, the issue still exists!!

Can you please help out?
Thank you in advance.

What is the link to your site?

I can not create other language anymore, that show the 2nd language on front.
This is on ALL our websites. (And also websites not from Bever Innovations)

Pages created in Cornerstone, then copied and (hand)translated to a second language, show this translation in Cornerstone, but not on the front site. The front is showin the language that has been created first (no matter what the base-language of the website).

We need help urgently.
I also will contact Themeco for this problem.

Thanks,
Liesbeth

Hello Liesbeth,
Thanks for contacting WPML Support.

I understand the issue you're having and will try my best to assist you in this matter.

If you've manually entered the translation directly through the Cornerstone Editor (hidden link), it's important to note that we've recently identified an issue with translations that occurs specifically when the "Media Translation" addon is enabled. With this plugin active, manual translations added through the Cornerstone editor display correctly in the Backend but not in the frontend.

If you have manually added the translation directly through the Cornerstone Editor ([link](hidden link)), it's important to note that we have recently identified a translation issue that occurs specifically when the "Media Translation" addon is enabled. With this plugin active, manual translations display correctly in the Backend but may not appear properly on the frontend.

We've found that disabling the Media Translation Addon and then re-saving the translation allows the translated content to display correctly on the frontend.

Considering the Media Translation plugin is currently active on your site, could you please deactivate the plugin, then resave the translation, and see if the translation displays correctly on the frontend?

Please let me know the update. I will be happy to help if you need further assistance in this matter.

Best regards,
Prosenjit

Thanks so much. This helps! After clearing cash and saving again, the pages are now oke on front end also.

Do you give an update when the issue with the media translation has been solved? Where can I find that?
Thanks.
