Background of the issue:
I am trying to resolve an issue with my website, hidden link, where the correct link is displayed in the back-end, but a wrong link appears on the front-end. I am following the discussion on the WPML forum at https://wpml.org/forums/topic/correct-link-in-back-end-but-wrong-link-on-front-end/ for guidance.

Symptoms:
The link displayed on the front-end of my website is incorrect, even though it is correct in the back-end.

Questions:
Why is the link correct in the back-end but incorrect on the front-end?
How can I fix the link issue on the front-end of my website?
