Background of the issue:
I have translated my website, hidden link, into Dutch using WPML. My subscription includes 90,000 credits, which should cover approximately 45,000 words using the DeepL method.

Symptoms:
Translation into two additional languages has failed because I appear to be out of credit. The translation dashboard shows nowhere near 45,000 words as having been translated.

Questions:
Why have I run out of credit when my website has nowhere near 45,000 words?
How can I resolve the issue of running out of credits for translation?

Hi there,

While waiting for one of my colleagues to be assigned to your ticket, I have reviewed your automatic translation account and see that 90,378 credits were used.

I can also verify that you are using Deepl for all translations.

To see a detailed report of your WPML automatic translation credit usage, navigate to WPML > Translation Management > Tools > Payment and settings, and then expand the Automatic Translation Usage Reports section

Please review it and let us know if you find any discrepancies.

Also, it's important to note that the word count is an estimate and many times the actual true count can vary.

WPML offers an "estimate", indicating that it may not capture every word depending on how the content is structured.

There is an initiative to make this word count more accurate in the near future.
