Hello,
Thank you for contacting WPML support.

It seems -unfortunately- that for now you need custom programming work which is beyond the scope of our support.

At this point I would suggest you consider contacting one of our certified partners from this link: http://wpml.org/documentation/support/wpml-contractors/

Before doing so please have a look also here:
http://wpml.org/documentation/support/wpml-contractors/guidelines-for-people-looking-for-consulting-help/

You will get the custom assistance you need to get on with your project.

Please let me know if you need further help.
Best regards,
Carlos

Hi Denisa,

I'm sorry if I gave you the wrong impression. I understood that you were trying to change the code of a custom currency switcher from a theme.

If this is the case and you are creating your own custom currency switcher, then the documentation you found will be helpful but at the same time I strongly recommend you to contact the theme's authors or make the changes in a child theme to avoid loosing the code after an update.

Please accept my apologies, it was an honest mistake.

Please let me know if you need help with the custom currency switcher and I will be more than happy to assist you.
Best regards,
Carlos
