This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client is using WPML with DeepL for translations and inquires about the possibility of synchronizing glossaries between the two systems. They want to know if there is a built-in feature for this synchronization, if WPML automatically applies terms from a DeepL glossary when used as a translation engine, and if there are any recommended workflows or integrations to keep the glossaries in sync.
Solution:
We currently do not support a direct synchronization mechanism with external DeepL glossaries. WPML uses its own glossary system within the Advanced Translation Editor, which is managed separately from any DeepL glossary. To keep terminology aligned, you can export and import glossary entries manually between the two systems. For more details on managing glossary entries in WPML, please visit How to Create and Manage Glossary Entries.
If this solution does not fully address your needs or seems outdated, we recommend opening a new support ticket. Additionally, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins.
