Background of the issue:
I am trying to delete English and Polish languages completely from my site. The issue can be seen at this link: hidden link
Symptoms:
I expected to eventually finish deleting translations, but instead, I got an infinite spinning wheel.
Questions:
Why is the deletion process stuck with an infinite spinning wheel?
How can I successfully delete the English and Polish languages from my site?
The process is not even running any queries towards the database (cannot see any action in the db log) and it's just spinning - but does not show any errors.
Welcome to the WPML support forum. Before passing this thread to my colleague, I would like to share some suggestions and possible solutions for the issues you mentioned.
This may be a compatibility conflict. Please try the following steps after a full site backup {mandatory} and make sure the bug exists.
1) Upgrade to the latest version of WPML (4.7.3). You may have to visit Plugins>>Add New>>Commercial tab and click on the *Check for updates* button to get the WPML automatic upgrade links of the latest version. This step will help us refresh the installer caches.
2) Increase *WP Memory Limit* to *256*(the minimum required memory limit for WPML is *128*). Please check the following links for more details
3) Increase the *MaxInputVars* of PHP settings to *10000*. Please check the following article for more details or contact your system admin/hosting provider for this purpose.

4) Clear all types of caches and resave the permalinks from Settings>>Permalinks
