I am trying to use directory language but the real directory exists (for some specifics files that they are using before the wpml instalation). If I activate this option, the directory language doesnt function.

Is there any configuration in htaccess that I can use to complement both options?

Thank you for contacting us. No. In case these directories should be rename. Otherwise, it will anyway have a collision between the directory and the language code.

One way to resolve this should be by using another URL format, such as formatting by parameters or domains by language.

Please, let me know if I can help with any other questions you may have about it. I'll be happy to help.

Thank you.
