Hey, I have an issue with sections visibility.I use didvi builder. Page is in english translated into spanish. I have some sections that are hidden on desktop and in the original version (english) they show ok, but in the translated spanish version, both mobile and desktop version are shown on desktop but desktop sections are not shown in mobile. I need to hide mobile sections from desktop. There are a lot of elements on my page that are slightly different on mobile and desktop. If plugin doesn't support hiding sections / modules / elements I can't use it.
Another thing is that the language changer in the menu is not showing properly. When I chose flag only nothing shows and when I show language name and flag then the little arrow to open a drop down is on the text, not beside the text.
Thank you for contacting WPML support. While you are waiting for one of my colleagues to take this ticket and work on it, let me provide you with first debugging steps or if I can perhaps help with the issue quickly.
How are you setting your modules to hidden or to display on different screens? Is that something in the Divi settings you are choosing? If you can share a screenshot of how you are doing that we will be happy to look into resolving that for the translated pages.
As for the language switcher, how are you inserting the switcher? is it in a menu, as a widget, a shortcode, etc? Please also share a screenshot of what you are seeing in regards to the language switcher.
Hi, so I managed to fix the visibility issue. It is because it translated IDs in the CSS code. I changed back the IDs to english and it is ok now. I am still struggling with the language switcher in the menu. I just use the settings in WPML plugin to show flag and language in the main menu but it shows the arrow for drop down menu on the text instead of beside the text. Not sure how to fix that. I am attaching screenshots. The v symbol for drop down is on text so on letter ''h'' in English and on letter ''l'' FOR Espanol which in fact looks like Espanoł because of it.
I've checked your Website and I noticed that you've made changes to the language switcher. Also, I'm able to switch languages without issues now. Did you manage to resolve this issue on your own?
I did manage to get it resolved with a help of divi support team. But I still have an issue with mobile menu, the drop down list doesn't show when you click on the language switcher. It works on desktop but on mobile I can only see the second language. Any idea how this could be fixed?
