Error "The site is experiencing technical difficulties" occurred when I press "Build On The Front End" button on a layout in Divi library or open page for edit.

What I did: deactivated all plugins and started activated step by step. Found that issue only occurs when WPML activated (only WPML activated alone)

Hi,

It would be good if you can provide me with the WordPress debug.log (not WPML debug information).

To enable it, open your wp-config.php file and look for define(‘WP_DEBUG’, false);. Change it to:


define('WP_DEBUG', true);
define( 'WP_DEBUG_LOG', true );

In this case, the errors will be saved to a debug.log log file inside the /wp-content/ directory.

If you can paste your debug.log to pastebin.com and provide me that link it would be great! (This is the cleanest way because sometimes the logs are long and create a complete mess in the discussion).

I Deactivated WPML Multilingual CMS but you can activate it to check and get "503 Service Unavailable error".

Thanks for the detailed information,
I have fixed the issue, the icl_translation_job table was missing a column which was causing the issue, I have tested the site by activating WPML everything seems to be working fine, Please test and verify the same, Let me know if you need further assistance.

Sure, I will help with this.

Can you please share the server error logs which is different than WordPress debug log, It will have more information it will be usually located in the site root directory as error.log. You can request your hosting provider to help you in this case. Paste the log in pastebin.com and share the URL with me.

For some reason I'm unable to access the site may be I am facing a temporary issue, please check do you have any errors in the Javascript console try to use Google Chrome built-in console to see if there are any errors displayed when you try to it. You can access the console from your Settings > Tools > JavaScript Console

Hi

The log is empty.
But if I activate only WPML plugin and DIVI, open any page for editing in Visual mode, press
green button "SAVE" I got issues with server usage and error (see screenshots):

Hi,

The icl_string table is missing a column word_count which is causing the issue, to fix it please execute the below query in your MySQL database

ALTER TABLE `wpyt_icl_strings` ADD `word_count` INT(10) NULL DEFAULT NULL AFTER `translation_priority`;

Fixing the table issue solved the issue. I hope this helps you as well. Let me know the results.

I am a little bit stumped here since I am unable to reproduce the issue in my local environment.

Please remove the existing WPML plugins from the plugin list, this won't cost any data loss. install a fresh copy of WPML downloaded from https://wpml.org/account/downloads/

Let me know if that helps, If not let me try to migrate the site to our private server and check for any server related issues. I hope that would be a wise choice.

Updated and looks like everything work now
