I am trying to: format my language selector to look nice.

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

I expected to see: some padding surrounding the language (sub)menu items, which should be the same as the rest of the other dropdown items, as well as more space between the flag and the language name. This is especially noticeable on the right side of the drop down.

Instead, I got: Flags and language names are smushed together, which doesn't look great.

Hi,

Thank you for contacting WPML Support. You can fix this issue by adding below CSS in WPML >> Languages >> Additional CSS section:

.wpml-ls-item .sub-menu {
    padding-right: 20px !important;
}

And it will look as in the attached screenshot.

Please let me know if this resolves your issue or you need further assistance with this issue.

Thank you

Thanks so much for your reply. I'm happy with the padding on the right, but do you have any suggestions to tackle the distance between the flag and the language name?

Hi,

Please try with below CSS:

.wpml-ls-item a {
    display: inline-block !important;
}

.wpml-ls-item img.wpml-ls-flag {
    margin-right: 5px !important;
}

And let me know how it goes?

Thank you

Hi again. I still have an issue with this: now, the hover state's background color of the dropdown is not padding correctly. Please see the screenshot.

Thanks for any help you can provide.
