Hi,

I followed this steps:
- I went to Posts -> Research Groups -> Created 'category test EN' in English and translated to German with the name 'category test DE'.
- Then I installed Translation Management plugin and activated the Classic Translation Editor (CTE) in WPML -> Settings -> How to translate posts and pages
- Created a post in English titled 'Testing RG taxonomy EN' and assigned the 'category test EN' category -> Saved the changes and translated the post using the CTE.

As you can see no new terms has been created in Research Groups taxonomy.

Regards,
Carlos
