Hi,

before further debugging, I'd ask you to update WPML to the latest version, because it has some fixes for Elementor, so your issue could be already fixed.

If updating doesn't work, you need to do this test:
- backup your site
- disable all plugin except WPML and his addons and Elementor
- switch to a default theme like TwentySeventeen
- check if the issue is happening again
- if it's not, reactivate your plugins one by one, checking every time if the issue shows up again
- lastly, reactivate your theme

Let me know the results of this test.

Hi.

As a response to your comment here.
https://wpml.org/forums/topic/itamar-test-ticket-what-happens-when-i-submit-a-new-ticket/#post-2613930

Laura didn't respond here because of the weekend when we have limited support. She will most probably respond on Monday.

Nothing will happen to your translations they are stored in the DB and not in the plugin's files.

It is always advised to make a backup of the site before trying things like that.

Regards,
Itamar.

Hi,

are you using the Translation Editor to Translate your page? You can set it in WPML -> Settings.
We always suggest using the Translation Editor to translate pages build with Page Builders.

Hi Laura,

am doing it manually "Create translations manually"..

So what can be done now? new pages can be edited in elementor but old pages cannot still.. can you try to login using FTP and help make positive changes, such that elementor can work with wmpl again?

Hi,

what do you mean with "new pages can be edited in elementor but old pages cannot still"? Are you talking about manual creation or with Translation Editor?
