Hi WPML Support Team,

I am experiencing an issue with translating my Elementor-built pages. Even though the pages are designed using Elementor, when I click the "plus" or "pencil" icon to translate/edit the translation, it redirects me to the standard WordPress Page Editor (Gutenberg/Classic) instead of the WPML Advanced Translation Editor.

I can provide site access (debug information) if needed.

Looking forward to your help.

Best regards,

Hi there!

This is Paola and I hope you are well!

Please go to the original page, click on “Edit”, and make sure that under “Translate this document” you select the option to use the Translation Editor.

I have also recorded a video for you with the steps:

Hi Paola,

This takes me to the default translation page, but it resets all translations and requires me to rewrite them all from scratch. Do you have another solution?

Thank you,

It seems that the translations were created manually, which is why the Translation Editor appears empty.

In this case, I would recommend continuing with manual translations. Otherwise, if you switch back to the Translation Editor, you would need to add all the translations again inside the editor.

Thanks!

Hi Paola,

I think my problem isn't understood. I can't find a screen to edit it. Your button takes me to the WordPress content editing screen, not the translation page. So I can't add translations. I use your software on multiple websites, and this error only occurs on this website, and I have almost no plugins. It's a problem that appeared out of nowhere.

Thank you,
