Hi

I'm planning on switching my site from http to https (SSL) in the following weeks. Is there something I need to consider regarding WPML to prevent erros - for example when it comes to sticky links.

I'm switching to https by enabling the SSL certificate, changing the site adress in the backend and using this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/really-simple-ssl/

Hi, as far as we are concerned there are no blocking issues with this plugin since it is a very prolific one and no clients have stated issues with it.

WPML works transparently with SSL so a simple switch of the WordPress "siteurl" and "homeurl" variables and a refresh of your .htaccess and permalinks will be enough for it to work seamlessly. As explained in our documentation (https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/sticky-links/) our Sticky Links plugin does not point to the URLs directly with the http/https protocol embedded so it will work right out of the box.

As usual, when doing site transfers, upgrades, or site-wide maintenance it is always a good practice to keep a backup handy should something out of the ordinary come up.

Let me know if this is what you were looking for.

Hello, I got a notice from Firefox "page trying to load unauthentified source's scripts (translated from french). It seems there is a problem with a CSS sheet from your plugin... can you help me on this one?
Thanks in advance, Nicolas
