I am trying to: edit some of the URLs of the Spanish version of the site. Why? Because when using the Tab section, if the tab titles have accents (e.g. Why = Por qué, What = Qué, How = Cómo), the URL that WPML generates removes the letter that has the accent. Therefore, the URLs look awkward in Spanish (e.g. .../#porqu, .../#qu, .../#cmo)

I expected to see:

Instead, I got:

Thank you for contacting us. If you try to create an accented tab in the default language, does this work correctly?

From what I understand, this should not work even in standard languages, because tab with accent can create some issues. After testing this, please let me know if the tab is created correctly when the accent is used in the default language.

Thank you.

Hi Bruno,

Sorry if I didn't explain myself very well in the first ticket. My question would be: Can I edit the URLs of the Spanish version of my site to add the missing letters?

Thank you,

Albert

Hi,

Thank you for the explanation. From what I tested, it is not possible to change the slug of the tab. This is done automatically by your theme.

That is, your theme looks at the title of the tab and based on that, creates the slug without a manual change. Maybe you can contact the author of your theme to ask if you can change this in any other way.

Please, let me know if I can help with any other questions you may have about it. I'll be happy to help.

Thank you.

Thanks, Bruno. I will contact my theme developers to check if they can help me.
