I've been running some tests with gtmetrix and google console and apparently there's this css that returns a 404 error and takes 2seconds to load.

Hi,

Thank you for contacting WPML support.

Yes, you are missing this file: hidden link
This may happen because of incomplete installation or some file corruption.

Please deactivate your current WooCommerce Multilingual plugin.
Delete it.
download a fresh copy from https://wpml.org/account/downloads/
install it.
check the issue.

Let me know how it goes.

Regards,
Riffaz.

Hi,

Clear the cache in WPML > Support or remove and re-add the widget. does it fix the issue?

Also, could you please check do have the file in /wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-multilingual/templates/currency-switchers/legacy-dropdown/style.css via cPanel/FTP?

Let me know how it goes.

Hello,
sorry for late reply.
I do have the file in the folder.
I've tried doing what you said. I cleared the cache and then removed the menus. Nothing changed.

Then I tried to remove all languages switcher and it still gives me error.

Hello,
I've talked to my hosting provider and I've found the error is in the .htaccess file. In fact, when using the default one, the error disappears.

I discovered that the plugin which causes the issue is WP Hide. Are you aware of this?

Hi,

Glad you've found the solution.

We do not normally check the .htaccess since users do not like to give us FTP/cPanel access.
We check .htacces only if the users allow us.

So it's clear. it is because of a third party plugin and not related to WPML.
Please contact the plugin support and check with them.

And, thank you for posting the update.
This may help to some other users.

Regards,
