After installing and updating WPML, a sign appears in the administrator saying "There is a problem with the String Translation table in your site."
In the debug.log it says "Error Unknown column 'location' in 'order clause'"

What is the link to your site?

Hello,

Thank you for contacting WPML Support.

Please make a complete backup of your site and database.

Then, go to WPML -> Support -> Troubleshooting

Look for 'Clean up' and click the following:

- Synchronize posts taxonomies
- Clear the cache in WPML
- Remove ghost entries from the translation tables
- Fix element_type collation
- Set language information
- Fix Terms count
- Fix post assignment for translations

Please wait for each one to complete before clicking on the next one.

Also, I request you to update the WP Memory Limit to at least 128MB which is the minimum requirement for WPML: https://wpml.org/home/minimum-requirements/

Add this code to your wp-config.php to increase WP memory:

/** Memory Limit */
define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M');
define( 'WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M' );

Paste it just before:

/* That's all, stop editing! Happy publishing. */

Thanks,
Rohan

thanks for your help
I performed all the steps, but the error message still appears.

I will try to disable it and install everything again.

You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.
