Does this happen when translating the portfolios only? Or also occur when updating the original portfolio page?

If you temporary deactivate WPML plugins, do you still see them?

Please remember to backup your database first before you proceed!

Hello there,

Welcome to WPML support forum.

This error does not seems to be related to WPML. On your test site, please check if this issue appears when:
- Only WPML plugins are activated. It will tell us if there is an interaction issue with other plugin.
- Theme is set to a WordPress default like Twenty Fourteen. Its will tell us if there is an interaction issue with your theme.
- If the problem disappears, start activating one at the time to track where the incompatibility is produced.

Sir,

We wrote to event calendar but I would like you to know that this problem happend only with the frecnh translation.

The third language that is khmer doesn't crate any trouble. So Coul'd we investigate further as we need to pass our website in production

I understand you situation but I need your help in order to confirm if this issue is related or not to WPML and then continue.

As I SAID ALREADY SINCE THE BEGINING :

I DESACTIVATED ALL AND REPLACE BY A NEW THEME BUT WE HAVE AVADA SO I MUST KEEP FUSION BUILDER AND FUSION CORE

THe result is NOTHING WORKS ANY MORE! Impossible to dislay any page. Of course we have the flag but pages are distroied.

All the products are traped some ware we can dislay the french but not the english. If I want to work with the english products, I must deactivate WPML

About wp_config : debug, debug_log and debug_display are always set to false

BUT WE HAVE OTHER PROBLEM WITH YOUR PLUGIN

1. When I do modifications on a page or portfolio with WPML translator (English to French), the footpage erases automatically the French footpage, replacing it with the English one. So I have to put back the French footpage everytime I do modifications!!! Of course there is no field related to footpage in the translator.

2. When I do modifications on a page or portfolio with WPML translator (English to other language), some content fields are missing in the English version, and of course in the French translation (Elegant carousel, promobox, and sometimes simple title or content fields). In that case I have to add the French translation in the page. But of course everytime I do modification using WPML translator, all my French translations (of missing fields ) are lost and I have to do it again!!!

3. Worse! On some pages, some content fields appear missing when opening the translation page. And without doing anything on the page, they reappear later!!! So it seems in some cases to be a random problem

4. OTHER TICKET

5. The main problem we have today is that on the French pages (whatever front hand and back hand) appear a series of error lines (see screeshots attached). They also appear even above the dashboard, on some parts of the menu (see listed main below). Again it happened 2 to 3 times that suddenly the problem seemed to have vanished. No more lines for a while, and they came back quickly (after one hour or less). We checked deactivating all plugins one by one and it seems that Event calendar is the one who generates the conflict.

I understand your frustration but I can only focus on the issue you mentioned when you open your ticket:

In your previous response, you have mentioned at least 4 different issues and I won't be able to answer to them as this is getting confusing and I won't be able to help you.

I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your test site to take a better look at the issue. Could you please indicate me how to replicate this behaviour?

You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.

Maybe I'll need to replicate your site locally. For this, I’ll need to temporarily install a plugin called “Duplicator” on your site. This will allow me to create a copy of your site and your content. Once the problem is resolved I will delete the local site. Let me know if this is ok for you.

*Important: Be sure to backup your site and database first before you proceed!
You can use a plugin for this if you like. You can use the Duplicator plugin for this purpose.

After following the procedure initially requested, I can see that this error only appears when the The Events Calendar PRO plugin is activated:

 Warning: preg_match(): Unknown modifier '3' in /home/clients/e7cd2c4e4eda1c7030821563df95d263/dev/wp-includes/class-wp.php on line 219

However, it not only appears on the French portfolio page but also on your French Posts and Pages section.

That's why I have created a test website with a clean WordPress install. You can access it through this link:

Please upload your plugin The Events Calendar PRO to this test install and setup it the same way as in your website. In this way we can check if this is a compatibility issue.


Please note that we only need the plugin and the related functionality, you don't need to setup a entire website or clone your existing site.

As this may take a while, on the meantime, I have added the following code in order to hide the notice:
