Background of the issue:
I am trying to export posts from coatinginstitute.org and then import them to edu.coatinginstitute.org because we are merging the sites. I have installed WPML in edu.coatinginstitute.org and enabled the WPML Export and Import in both sites. I run WPML Export and Import 'I’m exporting the content from this site' flow in coatinginstitute.org. Again in coatinginstitute.org, I go to tools -> export -> I select the posts for a specific date and export.

Symptoms:
The XML does not include the translations although I have selected the content to appear in both languages. In edu.coatinginstitute.org, I upload the XML, but the translation is not uploaded. If I export separately the Greek posts and English posts, the link of the translations is not done automatically and I have to do it by hand.

Questions:
Is it expected that the XML does not include translations even though I selected content to appear in both languages?
Why are the translations not uploaded automatically when I import the XML to edu.coatinginstitute.org?
How can I ensure that the link between Greek and English posts is done automatically?
