Hi,

this tread was already opened last week but was resolved. Not it happened again and i don't know why. I set all the setting in WPML>>Settings>>Media Translation as suggested last week. What else can we check?
...................
i found and issue on our webiste hidden link that not all products have set featured image anymore. Primary language is english <www.bananaway.eu) where everything works well.

Till one week ago everything was fine but i can't remider which action or plugin update made this.

Can you help me to set those images back on second language?

Same product:
EN: hidden link
SL: hidden link

Thank!

Hi,

Thank you for contacting WPML support!

I've checked the other thread - can you try this:
https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/media-translation/#media-translation-settings

WPML -> Settings -> Media Translation:
Check all these options and click "Start". Does it help?

Hi,

If you create a new product and translate it (not duplicate), does it happen also, or are only certain products affected in certain languages?

Or in other words, can you replicate this or is this a random issue?

If i translate new product is ok.
It does happen only to selected products and i can't find out which one.

If i open product in second language and just save it again, featured product image shows up again.

Hi,

I see - the only explanation that _thumbnail_id value has not been filled for some reason (it would be filled with with duplicated media ID). This is for the original product of my example product, for translation it would be another ID (but the same physical image stored on the disk).

I only see two options how to resolve this (since it is not on all products as you confirmed):
- try WooCommerce -> WooCommerce Multilingual -> Status -> Troubleshooting (lower right) -> Sync products "gallery images": -> Start, however product images are different than featured and have different meta_key (_product_image_gallery), so this would not work most likely.
- Open broken products originals -> Change admin language -> Upload image directly
