I am trying to:
Our development team is working on the web-site, which is multilanguage. Our client would like to automate the translations process and assign translations to Lionbridge.
We have tested the Lionbridge Connector for WPML and faced the problem with translating Widget kit items and custom fields. Most reputation.com pages are built on widgets (using Widgetkit hidden link) and custom fields (using Advanced Custom Fields PRO and Custom Field Suite plugins) and these entities were not translated.

I expected to see:
Translations for all fields were expected to be returned from the Lionbridge Connector for WPML.

Instead, I got:
These strings were not translated and we got empty translated page.

Could you consult us on how we can translate these fields?

Hello,

Welcome to the WPML support forum. I will do my best to help you to resolve these issues.

Please make sure you are using ACF Multilingual plugin or not. This bridge plugin will help you to translate the ACF Custom fields. Please check the following documentation for more details and let me know your feedback.

https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/translate-sites-built-with-acf/

To help you faster, I've enabled debug information for this support ticket. Please see this link for how to get this information from your site and give it to us: http://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/

Thanks, we will investigate the ACF documentation.

And what about the other fields, which are created using Widgetkit hidden link and Custom Field Suite plugin? How can they be translated?

Hello,

For your kind information, *Widgetkit* and *Custom Field Suite* plugins are not listed on the WPML compatibility list for the Plugins - https://wpml.org/documentation/plugins-compatibility. It does not mean that this plugin is not compatible with WPML, but our compatibility team has not tested it yet. So it requires further checking.

Normally we can translate the Widget strings from WPML>>String Translation. We can also choose the missing strings for translation from *Translate texts in admin screens* section of WPML String Translation(On the bottom of the screen). Please check the following documentation for more details.

https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/translating-widgets/

Please check the following documentation to know more about Custom Fields translation with WPML.

Unfortunately, this documentation is not applicable for the reported case.

Is WPML compatible with the yootheme.com widgetkit?
