Hello,

We use WPML only with 2 languages.
And would like to sort and filter directly on "wp-admin/edit.php" by the "icl_translations" column. So we can quickly see which posts dont have translation or need update.

Is this possible somehow? We are willing to work with custom hook/filters but it would be nice if you could give us some hints.

Thanks for your feedback

Hello,
Thank you for contacting WPML support.

I'm truly sorry but I don't understand the issue 🙁

Can you please elaborate a little more so I can better understand?

Kind regards,
Carlos

Hello,

I attached you an image of wp-admin/edit.php.

The different icons show if there is 'no translation', 'translation needs update' or 'translation is there'.
I would like to be able to SORT by this by clicking on the language flag there. Addtitionally a FILTER besides "All dates" would be nice.

Is this somehow achievable?

Best regards

Hi there,
Thank you very much for your message. Now I understand your question.

In this case it is no possible to achieve this by using the WPML interface, although it make sense so I recommend you to create a featured request by following the steps described in this page: https://wpml.org/suggest-a-new-feature-for-wpml/

If you desire to implement your own solution you can visit this links where you will find our list of hooks and API:
- https://wpml.org/documentation/support/wpml-coding-api/

Best regards,
Carlos

Thank you for the feedback!

I want to implement an own solution.

For that I did take a look at the list of hooks. However I could not find a hook which returns "translation needs update" or similar. How is determined if a translation needs update?

Best regards

Hi there,

It seems there is no hook to get the translation status of a given post. In this case you will need to check the status in the database.

Carlos
