Hi Alejandro, Just did this according to your description. But without the "overwrite" option it does not work. I am about to surrender and use the overwrite function since this solves the problem. Agreed? |

Ok, if that's easier for you then go ahead. you'll find that I wiped out the current Pay-As-You-Go Usage so it would be as if we gave you the credits to try again for the first time (you won't pay more because of it, this time) 🙂 Try it out but do it by language, instead of using all the languages at once, then let me know how it went. Regards, |

Hi Alejandro, Thank you. This did the trick - I now updated the main posttype for Norwegian, Polish, Danish and Icelandic. These were partial updates not to set you back. For now I can continue my work and get my teams to check the individual pages for translation errors. I would suggest closing this issue because the original problem of the glossary is now functioning 🙏🏼 But I also suggest to split this one into a new discussion for "updating existing translations". This functionality does not seem to work as expected. This issue remains and considering the upcoming languages and my desire to use the function to have WPML translate everything automatically - once I am sure "updating existing translations" works. Best regards New threads created by Alejandro and linked to this one are listed below: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/updating-existing-translations-does-not-work-as-expected/ |

Good morning, One more observation. I downloaded the glossary for a check. I notice that the column kind is back. In my case it still has a mix of general and name there. What should I do with that? |

For now, keep the kind values as "name", it was back intentionally while we completely deprecate it. having the term as "general" will make the entry disappear. it will still work but it will disappear from the visual interface. I'll close this ticket and split the ticket so we can handle what you requested 🙂 Regards, |
