Tell us what you are trying to do? I began translating our content with a third party, so I exported all of the pages (51) into xliff. I sent them to the third party and when they returned to me with 51 translated xliff files, only 26 translation jobs appeared in the translation queue. I don't know what happened and why 🙁 Is there a way to return them? I now have 26 translated xliff files that I am not able to import the translations, because if I create a new translation job its number changes. Say page x has a translation job number 1. It has gone missing, and I need to create a new one, so the new number is 27. Now that I try to upload the translated xliff file with a number 1, it does not match and therefore nothing is translated.

Hi Toni,

Thank you for contacting WPML Support.

Can you please try to import them using the following method as described here? https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/using-desktop-cat-tools/configuring-xliff-file-options/#returning-completed-translations

If this is not working for you, it's also possible to open the XLIFF File with a code editor and overwrite the actual job ID with the new job ID reference. More information you can find here: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/the-translation-job-doesnt-belong-to-you/#post-2225493

Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Best Marcel
