Problem:
You are trying to translate the header button on your site using WPML. The translation works with subpages but not with posts.
Solution:
If you're experiencing this issue, we recommend you try the following steps:
1. Copy the footer template ID.
2. Go to WPML-> String Translation.
3. Scroll down and click on the "Translate texts in admin screens »" link.
4. Search for the ID.
5. Select the string.
6. Click on the "Add to String Translation" button.
7. Then click on the "« Return to String Translation" link.
8. Translate the ID into the translated templates IDs.

Background of the issue:

1) Please update WPML plugins to the latest version. You can find the latest version here.

2) Please let me know how this button is created. Also, please share an example of a problematic post.

1. All updated.

2. hidden link for example here, there is no problem with subpages, only posts. We are using Zaap theme, and header was created by author theme. hidden link

Now, german post button is Jetzt Starten, but in developer tools you can see that I had to overwrite it. hidden link

Thanks for your update. I would need to look closely at your site, so I would need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP)
Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated.

Your answer will be private, meaning only you and I can access it.

❌ Please backup your database and website ❌

✙ I need your permission to deactivate and reactivate the plugins and themes and change site configurations. This is also why the backup is critical.

✙ I also need your permission to take a local copy of your site to debug the issue without affecting your live site.

Hi,

Thanks for the access details. I translated the header template ID via WPML-> String Translation. (hidden link)

Please check if the header on the front end is translated correctly into all languages.

Hi, thank you. It looks like it works, but I don't know how to do it in the production version, I don't find the header ID in string translations. What exactly did you do?
