Tell us what you are trying to do? I've connected WPML to my website and then to Blend using API. I successfully made a Spanish connection, and now I would like to add a Hmong connection using Blend translators. I am unsure how to connect this as Hmong as it is not in the list of languages in WPML WordPress and I can’t find the codes to add it so Blend will recognize it.

I tried setting up the language (see image below) but i receive the error that "This service does not support the following iso-codes: hmn" when trying to add Hmong. I then tried “hm” and it still did not work. Can you tell me what Blend uses for the ISO code for Hmong? And what each of these settings should be to make the connection?

Is there any documentation that you are following?

Is there a similar example that we can see? Not aware

What is the link to your site? hidden link

Hello,

Thank you for your message!

For now, we can support only the following languages for automatic translation:

So far, the only service that seems to support the Hmong language is Google, but they have not yet included it in their custom translation engines:

I am following up about this with our ATE Team, to see if we in fact could support the language or not and I will let you know the outcome.

Best regards
Andreas

My apologies, as my last comment refers to translating the content with the WPML Advanced Translation Editor. you only need to map the language if you use our editor in this case.

Guide:
https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/using-automatic-translation-with-custom-languages/

You do not need to map this language when using a translations service, as the language mapping occurs in this case between our translation proxy and the service.

You would need to follow this guide to set up the service:
https://wpml.org/translation-service/blend/

Once set up, you can send your translations to Blend:
https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/professional-translation-via-wpml/how-to-use-translation-service/#sending-content

You only need to consider whether the language code and default locale of your custom language match what the translation service is expecting. You might need to ask Blend for those details.

According to this information, it does not look as if the service supports "Hmong":
