So I have noticed upon analyzing my website that WPML is taking a lot of power, and I was wondering what could be done to minimize or optimize this? Are there any plans from the WPML to tackle this? We're dealing with an already pretty slow website, and would like to optimize it, and it's a shame to see how much performance WPML takes up.

Perhaps there are some parts of WPML we can disable, or code in a different way, that would help improve this?

See attached image for analysis.

Hello there,

We are working on releasing a new version with performance improvements, you can know more about it here: https://wpml.org/2019/06/wpml-4-2-7-and-a-preview-for-next-major-updates/

In the meantime, we have released beta versions so if you have some test site available, you can test the beta version and see if it helps to improve the performance.

Let me know if this helps.

Thanks
