Background of the issue:
I am trying to edit the navigation block translation for our footer menus, which we have translated using WPML’s Translation Management. However, some of the translated links are incorrect, and we need to update them. We are unable to find an option to open the translation of the navigation block using the WPML Advanced Translation Editor. Here is a link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link
Symptoms:
We cannot find the option to open the navigation block menu in the WPML Advanced Translation Editor.
Questions:
How can I access and edit the translation of the navigation block directly via the WPML Advanced Translation Editor?

Thanks for contacting us. I need to check your Website setup.
I will need to closely examine your website. Therefore, I will require temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to a test site where the problem has been replicated, if possible. This will enable me to provide better assistance and determine if any configurations need to be modified.
Please note that it is important to have a backup for security purposes and to prevent any potential data loss. You can use the UpdraftPlus plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/) to fulfill your backup requirements.
Your upcoming reply will be treated with confidentiality and will only be visible to you and me.
✙ To resolve the issue, I may need your consent to deactivate and reactivate plugins and the theme, as well as make configuration changes on the site if necessary. This emphasizes the significance of having a backup.

Thanks for your reply. You can edit the links here:

Once the links are updated, go to WPML > Translation Management > Site Templates. You should see Footer – Template Part listed there. Select it and resend it for translation.

Hi,
Thanks for your response.
I would like to edit the links of the translated footer content (i.e., footer template part) because I want to change some link URLs per language. How can I edit them?
Another question. If I want to hide a link in the footer content (i.e., footer template part) for the secondary language, how can I do it as I can't edit the footer through the default WordPress editor?. Please let me know.
Thanks

Thanks for your reply. You should be able to edit the links on the footer following the screen recording here hidden link . But if you wish to have a different footer for each language, you cannot use the Translation Management. But instead, you'll have to edit it manually for each language.

Hi, sorry for the delay.
Based on your video, I understand that to update the footer links in the translated content, we would need to edit the template part for each secondary language individually. If that’s correct, this approach won’t work for our use case, as we prefer to manage different footer links per language.
Instead, we found another approach that works better for us. We replaced the template part with a reusable block for the footer. Inside this reusable block, we conditionally display the footer links based on the current language using WPML conditions. This way, we can use the same reusable block across all languages while dynamically showing the appropriate footer links.
I hope this solution might be helpful to others facing a similar situation.
Thank you!
