I have thousands of category and thousands of posts. If I translate the taxonomies first, post second, how the relationship will be synchronized between terms and posts?

Do you refer to the translation pages? If so, you can follow the steps below:

- Click on the WPML > Support > Troubleshooting
- On the "Clean up", click on the "Synchronize posts taxonomies" button

This will synchronize the translated categories with the categories defined in the default language posts. That is, WPML will look at the categories that are defined in the default language post and synchronize with the translated categories on theses post.

Please, let me know if I can help with any other questions you may have about it. I'll be happy to help.

Thank you.
